Junis Meuer on his work: “For this project, ‘The Foreign,’ I decided to adopt a foreign perspective. I thought about what people typically see in everyday life. Most of the time, we take in our surroundings at eye level or look down at the ground to see where we’re walking. These days, most people sit on the train or the commuter rail and look at their cell phones; you rarely look up.”
