The "plan d" project involves the conception, design and prototype development of a mobile application for dialysis patients. The application, realized as a web app, serves as an aid for nutritional control in everyday life. It enables kidney patients to monitor their daily intake of potassium, phosphate and fluids through food. The concept was developed on the basis of personal discussions with patients and doctors as well as a survey of dialysis patients. The responsive design and implementation promote use on mobile devices. In the prototype, the user login, the search of a food database with suggested results as well as the display and addition of food nutritional values and the warning when the maximum nutritional value is reached were realized.
