Radio play

The aim of this work was to demonstrate the possibilities of acoustic perception of rooms in the two-channel stereo process and to achieve the most authentic reproduction possible via stereo headphones. A complete radio play was developed and produced for this purpose. The possibilities of the acoustic representation of rooms and movement of sound sources in the two-channel stereo process are limited. The question of when which techniques can be used sensibly is a central theme of this work. The aim is to find out to what extent the simulation of acoustic spaces enhances the listening experience. In addition, the question should be answered as to how music and sound effects can be used in a targeted manner to support the piece and not disturb it.
