A broken alarm clock. To achieve the desired look and feel of the still, the object—made of a wide variety of materials—was chosen as the focal point, deliberately distorted, and staged using an image composition based on the Golden Ratio. Additional objects and the lighting atmosphere reinforce the impression of an “unpleasant awakening” on a hangover-filled morning.
